Finally, a Flat
Well, since it has been over a year since I have had a flat. 5,000 miles or so. I guess it is time for me to have a flat. So, I had one when I woke up before I left. Then the tube I put in had a faulty stem. So, after I have it back on the bike and can't pump it it.
Then about 8 miles into the ride, I got another one. I guess having to change my tube three times makes up for not having the flats.
Hopefully, the ride home isn't as bad. But, we shall see.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't a pinch flat. After I put the tire on the tube, I checked the wheel to make sure that the tube was all in the tire, but I will check tonight. It wasn't 100% flat, but it went flat enough that I'm pretty sure it was a flat.
At, 1st I didin't know what to do. It took me a second to remember how to change a flat on the road. Glad I still carry all the tools I need.

How is the cycling in Layton, by the way? My wife and I were looking at a house there not long ago, but I haven't really spent much time in the area (I've only been in Utah about five years). It seemed a bit hilly for my taste, but then again we were mainly on Hill Field Road.

Cycling is great. I mainly ride to work Lay to North Ogden every day, but there are great hills and plenty of areas to ride in Layton, Syracuse, Clinton, and out west. great riding.

I finally checked the tube last night, and it was a pinch flat, I don't think. There was a single small hose by the presta valve. Not sure what would have caused it. Somehow it must have been pinched.
