When people yell at me in a foreign language..

I like to do a self translation.. even though I only speak English..

Like a few minutes ago, in the home stretch on my commute, some dudes in a Benz honked and yelled at me in Armenian. I'm pretty sure they said "That bike riding makes your legs and buns pretty sexy!" Then they passed really close to get a better look. Too bad for them I like women, but hey.. what can ya do.

I often get people yelling "foriegner" at me.

I yell back "Chinese Person!"

Some of the local denizens have seen no or very few foreigners.

Mostly I just get smiles, waves, or a big thumbs up.

Only cowards shout at people in a language that they know the person can't understand.

I seem to find that the cab drivers in Hong Kong know exactly what I am saying - even if I only half say it in Cantonese.

I think that there must have been some special government training so that cab drivers can understand deaf people. Cabbies all seem to understand my sign language!
