Bikes: Windsor Fens, Giant Seek 0 (2014, Alfine 8 + discs)

Price is outrageous. Right off the bat you'd at least have to rip those silly flippy things off and put on real fenders.

Personally I'd spend $1000 on a cross bike and tweak that.

The Giant Via 3 seems to be a better value than the Trek Earl.
