Update to my previous post: I just ordered another pair of the Italian Army Mountain Wool knickers. I love them. Never figured myself for a knicker guy, but seeing them all over europe for the hiking set, I got to like the look. And heck, I already wear an Irish wool cap, so all I need now is to hike up my wool socks and hit the hills! I've happily rediscovered nature's miracle fabric.

Yep, I'm about as metro as you can get. I ride in a man tank (mank) all summer.

I bet you put black, brown and green makeup on your face sometimes, too, right? ;-)

Is anybody actually riding in pants like these?

I wish I could find them reasonably priced, 'cos I'd definitely wear those.

What size did you get and how does it measure/fit? I've big thighs and wonder if the large would be too tight, I fit in most 36 pants with a bit of room in the waist but tight on the thighs with most cuts of pant. I really do like the look of these things too!
