What do you call yourselves?

I've always wondered, what is the correct/accepted denomination for a bicycle commuter?

I've seen "commulist" once.

I don't know that there is a specific term. I just refer to myself as a bike commuter.

It would then make me a guy who likes to ride his bike to work and mostly from work when the weather is nice and not so nice.

for the 5 minutes a day I have to ride from the powerline trail to College on Horsetooth I call myself "dont hit me". The rest of the time I'm just the goofy guy on the schwinn, no name really.

Nice weather for a ride today, especially after all the wind earlier this week.

Where are you going exactly? There are many ways to avoid the College+HT intersection. Yeah the Eastbound wind after work was quite a workout

I'm lucky enough to pull off at Stanford, the road on the east of the mall, so I dont hit the intersection. Horsetooth still has wheel grabber storm drains and the bike lane kind of disappears for a while. But other than that I have a straight shot up the powerline to harmony, cross at the light, and I'm two blocks from my office. Where are you dodging traffic?

I'm not sure.....

I know what others call me and sometimes, it's not very nice.

But as long as they're not throwing anything at me or running at me with their cars, I don't care. When I'm on my bike and they're in their car; I'm the happier honcho.... unless of course they're driving a Porsche.... I've always wanted a Porsche... I have kids instead.

That sound way too close to communist for my liking...

I like to call myself "Cyclist" I call myself a "Biker" once, but everyone ask what motorcycle I have... -__-;

From HT+Shields, going East to HP, I cross the railroad and College at Troutman. Some other times at Swallow. Some other times I just take the Spring Creek trail all the way to work. Some other times I stop by Odell's brewery for a 90. Or two. And New Belgium.

My commute is too short.

There ought to be a noun. Bicommuters deserve a noun.

I call myself Tom, most of my co-workers call me crazy, but they did that before I started bike commuting... most of the time, when I talk about it, I just call myself a guy who loves to ride his bike.

I call myself a patriot. Considering the economic damage done to America by burning imported oil in cars and the risk to life and limb I experience on our roads it's the most appropriate label I can think of. I consider carcissists to be agents of Al Qaida, wittingly or otherwise.

Call myself "lucky" to be able to ride to work. I like cyclist, because that covers more than commuter.

I like the sound of "Cyclokitty of the Apocalypse". Let's see if that gets popular.
