I voted upon my two wheels as well... Well I got there on two wheels at least! Only my second time voting and first being car-free.

Jeesh, I guess I have it easy here in Oregon. Everyone votes by mail!
But I did manage a nice bike ride after mailing in my ballot two weeks ago, if that's any consolation for a biker.

Your sticker is way cooler looking than mine.
I rode the .7 miles to vote, all uphill.
I usually mail in my permanent absentee ballot - bu this year I misplaced it.
So, the need for the bike trip.
I've gotten to polling places on foot and skateboard previously. As well as motorcycle and car.

I rode my bike to the polling place as well. The volunteers there were impressed. One of them said, "Voting and riding a bike -- two things you should keep doing for the rest of your life!"

I was the only cyclist at the polling place, but fortunately there were two other dogs there.

The last time I DIDN'T ride to vote was in '92; skipped '96, and have been a bike commuter since 2000, and car-free since '04. It's cool -- there's a welded-steel, roll-cage-like barrier around an outside stairwell right outside the entrance, so I lock up about 6 feet from the door. Nobody has ever messed with the bike.

I always ride to the polls to vote. Less hassle with parking and traffic...plus it's on my way to/from work so I am riding anyway.
