I read a review somewhere (Amazon?) where the author wasn't particularly impressed with the mounting system. I was considering one myself, but after reading that review, I decided otherwise.

I dunno...it's ugly, but they put some thought into the design with that cool mount system. The rechargeable built-in battery is "green" cool, too, but it's expensive...and ugly. I like the side markers, but in the scheme of things...it's still ugly.

Am I shallow? If using standard AA or AAA batteries means it can be a good looking light, can't we shoot the dead batteries into space instead of burying them? Anyway, once the rechargeable battery is shot, what are we supposed to do with that thing. Shoot it into space?

In all seriousness, that's an ugly-assed light. And it's expensive, too.
