Seconded, several other of the previously stickied threads actually got daily use.
The forum software really should allow you to choose which threads you see stickied when logged in. Get with the web 2.0 (man I hate that term).

You could put this in with those other sticky threads. However, if anyone actually uses this thread (like I have before and attempting to do now and probably in the future as well), then it will quite possibly jail break. I mean, I've seen at least 3 of the sticky threads- 2011 mileage, 20 yr old clunker, and "how was the commute?" all out in general population without the sticky on them.

Have:
Prana Nemesis Knickers - Size M(Khaki color, I don't think this color is available anymore)
I bought these a while back; it finally warmed up enough to wear shorter pants. I wear a L and it's too late to get a refund.
These are tried on, but never worn. I'll try to get some pics up in a bit.
Looking for:
-Same or comparable in a L
-Ultegra/SRAM 1070 12/27 cassette

I have a Delta Super Sherpa rack that I can't seem to find a use for. It's just a bit too short and low for my liking, though it is light and seems very strong. I'm not really looking for anything in particular.

Barrett, I think to stick to the rules of the site we need to keep this as a for trade thread, not for selling outright.
Andy, I have two TA's in great shape that are just sitting around. PM sent.

Is there any particular reason why the for trade thread couldn't become a Buy, Sell, Trade thread?
On another forum that I frequent, they have a Buy,Sell,Trade thread. I am not aware of any issues. They do have a set of rules regarding behavior on that thread.
I remember buying a 50+ jersey from a member here. I don't actually remember how that came about.
I also wouldn't mind being able to offer cashy money for bike items that I could use, as opposed to being limited to just trade only.
For example: I am interested in the accessory bar posted above, but I don't have anything that he is looking for---I could however, trade cashy money (actually Paypal) for it.....

I always check the commuting sub forum.
If there is some commuter gear that some one is looking to dispose of, there is a better chance of me seeing it here, as opposed to it only being listed in the For Sale subforum.

FWIW, the mess bag is a Banjo Brothers (L)- has the laptop sleeve (which I never used), but missing the phone holster.

Shimano 105 Hollowtech Crankset, colored silver, with less than 50 miles on it (part # FC-5502, non-compact double compatible with V1-splined Octolink BB, 130 BCD 175mm arm length); will trade for the same or similar in a 170mm, silver or black. If anyone has a similar road double that isn't Octolink compatible, I'd be down to trade BBs as well, 68x118.
Pletscher Twin Leg Kickstand, colored black; will trade for any 700c/road bike length rear mount kickstand, preferably colored black but will also accept silver, chartreuse, burberry, or day-glo zebra print.

I also have a like new (approx. 40 miles, then removed) WTB Rocket V saddle. I replaced it on my 2010 Kona Jake that I got a couple months back, after two or three rides. Thing was like torture to me, but it has to fit someone.
Still no specific needs, I just have no use for it.

I just put a my commuting light set on ebay. It's a magicshine mj 816 w/ the mj 818 tail light and battery/charger/etc. It's a geoman gear set up, too. I want $150 for all of it but I'll take it down if anybody around CFL has a good longboard for trade - I've got cash to add.
Check out a pic and what not here - https://cgi.ebay.com/Magicshine-mj-81...item2a1202b85c

Do you have some old panniers that are in decent shape but you haven't used in a while?
I am looking for some panniers to get my self started with bicycle commuting. (12 miles one way) My wife says that I can't buy the bags from anywhere right now. If someone would trade me something for the bags I would really appreciate it. I think I want to get a set of bags for my rack. I think I can get a set of Louis Garneau beta bb_46 rear panniers for $45 from performance. Is that a good deal? what do you think?
***
update bought the panniers and well attempt my first bike commute tomorrow morning!

Looking to trade a nearly mint Chrome Metropolis for a cycling backpack. Turns out my shoulder isn't suited to the one strap style.
Will trade for
Chrome Ivan, Chrome Yalta, Chrome Backbone, Chrome Brigadier, Chrome Ranchero, Chrome Pawn, Chrome Falcon, Chrome Romer.
Or an Ortlieb, possibly.
So, pretty much any decent sized cycling backpack.

To Give:
- Shimano Ultegra crank (double chainring) from my Trek 5200 (went to a compact).
- A lightweight set of 26 inch rims laced into carbon fiber hubs with double butted spokes (if interested let me know and I will go to the storage unit to get the brand names).
- Brand new Kelty messenger bag in dusty blue.
- FSA carbon fiber drop bars (very light). Flat on top for more hand comfort.
To Get (one or more, but not expecting all):
Front rack for fork mounting
Small front panniers
Trunk bag
