Looking for a challenge..???
A few friends at work started a monthly challenge on Endomondo in October. We are into month 3 and for me it has added an extra incentive to ride each day.
We'd be happy to have you join us. If interested, check it out at https://www.endomondo.com/challenges/urqY8HeWYyk
Here is a brief description of our challenge. Good Luck!!
KC Bike to Work December 2010 (Cycling, transport)
Monthly global bike to work challenge sponsored by Kimberly-Clark. No prizes, just you, your bike and the satisfaction of getting to work using your own energy. Only distances entered as Cycling, transport will count in this challenge.
This is how November ended up - it was a real dogfight to last day. https://www.endomondo.com/challenges/oRGcIp5zZ-Q

Don't feel like signing onto yet another site but I have 64 miles this week in December (21 for tues doesn't count).
Naturally I get 107mi or so every week, just for commuting. Sometimes I'll ride out to the bike shop to pick something up in which case it'll be an additional 12 miles each time.
I'll also hit about 50 on the weekend Sat ride and now that I'm beginning some training I'll be slowly upping that number.
Have fun, it's a great way to stay motivated!

I did about 200 miles commuting in November, so I would be halfway up the pack, too. Sadly, I had a lot of vacation days saved up for December, so I will only get about 8 more commuting days this month.
Maybe in January, when the lightweights are huddling in their heated cars, I'll have a chance.

Nice challenge. I won't join though--might be unfair.
I didn't ride on December 1st, but I did ride on the 2nd and 3rd.
My data from my Garmin for those two days look like this (these are only commutes):

Here's my route (home to work is a little shorter that work to home [recorded and shared 11/30/2010]):

Thanks for the PM kccomuter!
I wrote a very nice, grammatically correct, and well thought out reply
(I know,.. it was like a first for me)
But this site told me that I can't send it because I don't have 50 posts.
I found that site to be a little clunky at first, but I have it figured out pretty good now (Except I have no idea how to accept a friend request still working on that bit). I'm in the running, currently sitting at number 5 I think. I'm the guy with the picture of me holding a T-Rex 450 RC Helicopter.
