What happened to J&G cyclewear?

Has anyone had any contact with them lately? They don't return my calls and I can't access their e-mail address. I have a question about one of their products before I buy it but now I am leery about even buying anything from them.

Purchased a complete raingear outfit from them a couple of years ago. I tried and am having trouble accessing their e-mail account as well. Keep trying the 800 number. Eventually someone will answer or you'll get a message that the line is no longer active. Either way being hesitant to buy from them now is wise.

I hope they didn't become a casualty of the economy. They made/make an good, well designed, well made product. At least as far as their rain jacket goes. I got mine last year for Christmas, it has become my pretty much constant companion.

You would think if they could afford Antonio Banderas as a model they would have enough dough to handle an economic downturn:

Not Banderas, but the owner ... I think....now deceased.

I purchased a pair of their rain pants about 6 wks ago. No problem with the web site then and the pants got shipped extremely fast - received in 3 days. Great quality. Hope nothings gone amiss with the company.

I have gotten their non breathable rain jacket in the past and it has finally quit on me after all of these years. So, I was wanting to get a replacement along with possibly their shoe covers but I needed to ask about their sizing. I will keep trying but I don't know if it will get me anywhere.

Any other suggestions for an inexpensive good quality rain jacket for cycling? (AKA not Showers Pass)

Well, after looking at that page, I'm not sure the guy isn't a model. The owner seemed to have grayer hair. However, for certain, he is deceased.
