I'm in Texas, where pogies are definitly not encouraged:-). My needs are for something temporary, effective, and cheap. So, I've decided on a layering system. A 'chemical protection' outer glove for wind/waterproofing, used as needed over a standard insulating glove, and an inner liner. Versatile and effective. (Of course, any similar outer glove will do. Just happened upon this thing at a tool sale for $1.)
Again thanks for all the suggestions. Been a thorough review of options, and should anyone do a site search for 'waterproof gloves', will pop up as first choice. I tested it.
