Has anyone tried Eastward headlights?

I was perusing DealExtreme.com and came across these headlights

https://www.dealextreme.com/p/eastwar...-4-18650-50971

Has anyone tried them yet? I'm looking for a magicshine, but was wondering if these were any good.

It looks like a beefed up Magicshine with 18650 batteries.

It could be a PITA to mess with the batteries every time, but I really like the idea of a secure mount.

After buying batteries and a charger, its going to cost as much as a MS.

There was a mini discussion in the Electronic forum.
https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...attery-problem

No one knows for sure yet, but it seem to be wired up in a 4P configuration. The plugs are different, so yeah, you will need to get the battery out up charge them. The lumen is downgraded possibly because of the lower voltage?

I think it will be better to get a MS and wait for Geoman and their replacement pack, however it was posted those pack will not be ready till end of April. The other choice is the Gemini Titan but that is more expensive.
