Bike-Lane Picture Resource Gallery
I do not have a digital camera yet, and we have no bike lanes in our city at all. I could benefit from having clear images of bike lanes of various types and crossing areas that depict traffic situations as well as some of the more aesthetic shots of lanes or trails found also in the bikeforums site.
There are some other sites that only provide minimal visual resources that vary in their capacity to be used in city or local planning discussions here. Perhaps this could also benefit other folks in the same boat.
It would also be nice to have some shots that also depict the failures of planning bike lanes (such as those too close to the curb and full of snow or parked cars).
It would also be nice to make these photographs Public Domain as far as being used for educational and informative services... not for publications that generate profit and that permissions be obtained for such use between parties outside of this forums area.
