I as just checking around at some places for a bike for a friend and I happened across a GT Traffic 2.0 with a Nexus 8-speed hub for $450. You can get 10% off and shipping comes to $30 or so bucks so overall is just under $450 total. It looks like the bike wasn't in the US line of bikes and this seems like a pretty good deal. BD has a similar bike for about the same price, but this GT has pinhead security bolts and reflective decals as some things you don't generally see on a bike plus some other possible nifty touches. I thought I would post this up in case anyone was looking for something like this.

Nice bike, my LBS has one on the floor...hasn't sold in over a year

I have always liked the GT frame and am sold on the IGH. Nice combo. Great price too. Anyone thinking about a decent commuter at a fair price should consider this one.
