Brake pads for Mavic Open Pros?
So I got some dual compound kool stops thinking they would work better than the old pads. And they do. But, the front squeals like a pig. I thought it might be the brake assembly, but I just gave it a looksee for about 40 minutes and all is well. If I hold the rear brake and roll the bike backwards, it gives some pretty intense noise as well. Different frequency, but still a godawful noise.
So what gives? What pads are you using with your mavic openpros that don't act as a stand in for a brass bell?
EDIT: I'm an idiot. I was doing the toe-in "backwards" and setting them at a toe-out setting. Back to the allen wrenches...

Looks like I'm too late... I was going to ask (since I can't remember from saturday's ride...) if they are cantilevered brakes. Cantis can take a lot of adjustment to get right, then they start squeaking again anyway when they wear down. (well, mine do, anyway)
