Hello fellow commuters!

I commute by bike in Columbus, Ohio. I ride mostly on the Olentangy Trail, about 14 miles one way. I love it!

Here's some pics of one of my RB-2s along the way from yesterday.

I ride vintage lugged steel. Today I rode my Mercian, which I've had since I was 14 (now 52)

Welcome, nice to have another HHCMF aboard. What type of seat bag is that you have on your bikes?

Thanks! It's a Carradice Nelson lowsaddle longflap--I've been using it for about 10 years, and I'm pretty sure it will outlast me.

p.s. What's "HHCMF"?

Those ain't spacers , it's a threaded fork and a quill stem ,
with a quill/tube stem raiser in-between.

I didn't want to start a new thread, but wanted to get my first post out of the way
I am a former hardcore cyclist that took about 8 years off the bike and have now fallen back in love with the sport and can't for the life of me remember why I stopped, okay thats a lie, back pain

I started commuting once a week, and have just upped it to two, and sometime I will make it three times a week, seeing how I have a 62.7 mile round trip commute, I don't want to bump my milage too quickly
