Carradice bag on the front?

Has anyone tried mounting one of the Carradice seatbags on their handlebars or front rack? Seems like one of their smaller bags like the Barley might work for a large handlebar bag. Post a photo if you've tried it.

I have the Carradice Zipped Roll bag on the handlebars of my LHT; works great. I'll try to find a pic...

Brompton's front bag frame is great for that. , they QR to the head tube
with a special clip.

strapping it directly to the bar loses hand grip area, to the bag..
