Biggest Item In Your Tire . . . . . ?

What is the biggest object you've got in your tire?

Got a roof nail in my front tire this morning, didn't notice it until ride home. Can't believe it didn't go right through my wheel.

Long time ago. A rusty box knife blade. Brand new tire and tube trashed.

Half a copper pipe 1" in length. the "U" shaped portion stuck into my tire on both have and caused a good hop before I could stop. Pulled it out and tire didn't go instantly flat to my amazement. was 5 minutes from destination. when I went to go home it had flattened, but I just pumped it up enough to roll the 2 blocks to the train station. topped it up when I got off the train and rode home. changed the tube in the morning.

Bikes: I have 3 singlespeed/fixed gear bikes

Few years ago I got a self drilling screw in my rear tire, it was half inch long and 1/4 diameter. This happened on a cold january afternoon after I left my work. I was running nokian extremes at that time. Because of the cold it was a huge PITA to remove a tire and change a tube.

A few weeks back on a saturday ride I had a hunk of beer bottle go right through the back tire, I didn't find it until I took the tire off the wheel and found it inside.

Earlier this summer I had a 1" screw go straight in:

Had a rock the size and shape of an arrowhead go through a Conti T&C tire, Slime liner and tube. Instant flat tire.

In my Schwalbe's the biggest thing I had was a thorn an inch long, which didn't cause a puncture.

On the Specialized Borough tyres on my Tricross, today I picked up a piece of curled metal about 1.5" long which caused the first puncture I've ever had in my life. It also made me decide to dump the Borough tyres and put Schwalbe tyres on the Tricross too.
