I've been riding on my b17 for 8 months now and am probably still breaking it in. I often notice I sit quite forward on it and scoot back. This morning I was paying particular attention to where my sit-bones are in relation to the saddle and it made me think about angling my seat upward to encourage me to aim for C or D.

Where do you think you sit?

My sit bone indentations are between B and C - I sit pretty far back for some reason. I wouldn't worry about it if you are comfortable though.

Judging by the wear marks on mine, anywhere between B and E. At least in my experience, you can't angle the front up a lot before it starts hurting you when in the drops.

I tend to sit towards the nose most of the time. I'll scoot back sometimes to relieve some pressure but generally feel more efficient forward on the saddle.

I sit on the seat?

I sit where it feels comfortable. Not sure where that is.

The saddle will conform to how you sit on the saddle. Don't worry yourself about too much.

I usually sit between d and e.

Thanks for humoring me. Rode in today not paying attention. I think a certain amount of scooting around is normal.... i tend to scoot back on hills it seems. I was just a little paranoid that if I was sitting up as far as E-F that I was prolonging the break-in and not getting the comfort benefit.. but I'd say in reality i'm all over the shop.
