Brooks recommends certain saddles depending on your handlebar to saddle height. For handlebars set at about the same level of the saddle, which is how a lot of commuters roll, the B17 or Flyer is appropriate.

I'm using a B17 on my hybrid commuter bike -- installed it maybe 200 miles ago, really liking it so far. I hear they only get better with seat time...
