Jandd Expedition rear rack
Hey folks - thought I'd share this one with you. I just purchased this rack:
https://www.jandd.com/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=FREXP
to replace an Axiom Streamliner Road DLX that I'm currently using. My Axiom rack is too narrow on top to allow me to carry anything remotely bulky, and because of its narrowness it interferes with my newly-installed rear fender stays. Anyway, the Jandd rack looks like it'll do the trick for me and best of all they're on sale right now if you buy them from Jandd directly. I just happened to check their website to find out info about the warranty and saw that they were actually selling them for far cheaper than anywhere else that I'd seen them.

I have both the Jandd Expedition rear rack and the Jandd Extreme front rack. Both are excellent racks and are a good value at their regular price. They'd be well worth the sales price.
By the way, I have strapped a full sized garbage can (full of glass and plastic to take to the recycle center) to my rear rack without any problems. I think the frame eyelets would give before the rack. They are highly recommended.
