I was having so much fun with them yesterday I dragged a pedal, and I don't recall ever doing that before! Need to remember to keep the inside pedal high with these things.

The only problem is that I can't figure out which one of them is Diana Ross.
Supremes were the back-up singers no? Your bike is Diana Ross.

I started riding Supremes a few years ago and haven't looked back. My first pair lasted about 6000 miles before the sidewall started to tear. They still had plenty of tread though. I've gotten two flats in about 7000 miles, one glass, one a ceramic chip. As they start getting torn up by glass, etc I fill in the holes with RTV silicone. Seems to help keep crap out of there later on.

These tires are so much better made than others I've tried. Their increased initial cost pays for itself in their durability and peace of mind.

The Marathon Supreme is a great tire for both road and trail.

Bikes: Gazelle Davos and a Santos mountainbike

I ride with them a couple of years. First on my old bike after 5500 miles no flats. After that, no idea I sold the bike. The new bike got a pair of continental travel contact light, after 3000 miles and 5 flats I got a set of supremes. The lasted 7000 miles with 3 flats, all in the last 700 miles. The current set has 4000 miles on them no flats. Nothing but good about the tires from me. Our roads (and bikepaths) are pretty clean, the occasional glass in the town center but not to brutal.

In my eyes continental does the same thing with their city/trekking tires they all have Contact in their name.

^^^ Wow, I didn't realize that. Conti is as bad as Schwalbe in the product naming department!

I had 5 punctures in the first week of usage from goatheads with my supremes. Have avoided areas with fresh goatheads for a while now, and haven't had a flat since.

Goatheads are evil.

I've also got ~6k on a pair of 32mm supremes w/ no punctures; I switch them for marathon uh extremes(?) in the winter so it's not 6k in a row.

Good point. My last set didn't get it millage in a row. From half november until ferbruary I used as set of marathon winter tyres (super heavy, but very good grip on black ice and compacted snow).
