I'm glad it worked out for you! It turned out that there was nearly zero wind here this morning, so wind chill wasn't much of a factor. It was 17F by the time I left at 8:15 and I was toasty warm on the ride.

To keep your feet comfortable on those cold/rainy mornings, slip a plastic grocery bag over your feet (inside your shoes). This works quite well, and is dirt cheap.
