Jamis Commuter

I was wondering what you guys could tell me about this bike. Good or Bad, I would like to know. I tried the search function, but it doesn't seem to be working right now.

Bikes: recumbent & upright

My winter bike is a commuter 3, it has a plain non red band nexus hub - had it about four years. Changed the handle bar to suit my preference, put on salmon brake pads to help stopping in real sloppy weather and swapped the tires for snowtires. It is/has been a trusty reliable ride - if something bad happened to it, would replace it with another.

Yeah I have the 2009 Jamis commuter 1 and I love it. I gave it to my wife and she really loves the upright position. Its a good entry level bike. The current model comes with fenders and all the rack mounts, so its perfect for commuting.
