Pake C'mute owners, two things?
First, can I see your builds?
Second, a sizing question. Anyone "size up" and how is working for you? With only 10mm jump in TT from the 54 to the 56, I a bit undecided.
I've started a new job that has a 30m commute that I've been doing on an old mtb, turned dropbarred hauler. Unladden she runs over 40 lbs, so I'm really looking forwards to ordering up a new frame.

I really like the Pake C'Mute and it's a bargain. However, the top tube is already on the long side -- for me anyway. So I would stick to the 54 if it were me since my ideal top tube length is 56 with a steeper seat tube angle like the C'Mute has. If you like to stretch out on your bikes, the 56 might be a better fit though. If I went with the 56, I would have to use about a 8-9 cm stem, which is shorter than I prefer.
How tall are you? I am 5'11" and my bikes all have 56-57 top tubes, depending on the STA.

I'm right at 5'10", but I've been riding frames with TT anywhere from 55-60 without much trouble (except standover on the 60 square frame). Between looking at the geo-chart and pics, I can't decide if they are considering it a compact geometry or they just welded the TT lower to give it the extended headtube look. I'm going to try to visit a shop that usually stocks them to see if I can ride one this week.

I'm 5'9-and-a-bit with t-rex arms, and I wound up with a 54. Frame is almost too big for me. I wanted an upright commuter so I have north road-type bars on it and switch stems between summer and winter. Very little seatpost showing with a tall saddle. I seriously doubt I could ride it comfortably with drop bars.
I'd get a pic but I don't think it's applicable here.

I have been riding it for a few weeks and absolutely love it. I went with the 58cm (6'1" 170lbs) and I'm very happy with the look and feel. I should finish the rest of the build posts over the next few weeks. Feel free to hit me up with any questions.
