I Wish I Needed Another Giant Seek

I've got a 2009 Giant Seek 2 and really like it for a commuter. It's looks are understated and it's a nice ride. I've got it decked out with two lights front and back, rear rack, Cannondale panniers, fenders, bell. etc. After all of that, it's no light weight, but what bike would be. It would be nice to have a bike without all of that just to go out and ride once in a while.

I was in my LBS today because it is their annual sale and all of the left over 2011 bikes are 40% off. They didn't really have that much left over but lo and behold they did have a 2011 Giant Seek 1 in my size. Regularly $900 for $540. I left without buying it and I'll probably not sleep tonight wondering whether or not I should go buy it tomorrow.

I've been getting rid of some bikes lately and need another bike like I need another hole in my head. I've got two ready to roll, another one that could roll but it's under a drop cloth to keep the dust off because after I rebuilt it I quit riding it, and another in pieces waiting for me to decide whether or not I want to rebuild it.

I've sold three this year and here I am wanting to buy another one.

"Seek" and you shall find.
I'm on my third new bike this year. I have to move into a bigger house.

If you are going to get N+1, shouldn't you try for something a bit different?

It's different - it is two years newer and it's black.
