I have the Welgos. I am not saying they are great or even good. They are inexpensive and perhaps a bit heavy. I have put many miles on them and even crashed them a few times. I have a spare set for when and if these ever give up. I like them just fine on my Cross Check for both fitness/sport riding and commuting and short trips with plain shoes. Barefooted, , they hurt.
