Rerun of my life...

For the past one and a half year I have been working at one of our clients. The distance was a bit too far to ride the bike to work, so the company provided me with a car. I had a great time, though I have been slacking the cycling, which led to let's say... 30lbs of gained weight.
I've moved to the other side of the country and decided to switch jobs. Though the economy hasn't really liked my idea of switching jobs, so no news on that for 8 months now. Still working at the very same company.
Eventually the company decided to put me back in our office instead of at our client. Basically, I'm starting cycling, especially commuting, on 29-05

Lots of changes in my life, and when I thought everything went down the drain, I get to ride again

At dawn, we ride!

I thought you were going to say they provided you with a bike. But apparently is too much for even the Dutch. (But maybe you might suggest it...)

In the Netherlands I didn't think there was such a thing as too far to bike. Anyhow, congratulations on the change and welcome back to the fold. Ride on !

It's been suggested, but they really aren't into providing bikes to people who will be leaving the company in either short or long term. As soon as I told them I was planning on leaving, they let me know that I would be taken back into the head office which would lead to losing my company car etc etc. No big deal though, I'm looking for a small economic car, just to get from home to my 'weekly home'. All other commuting will be done by bike.

50km One way, with an active office day can be pretty exhausting.
