Cartridges

Just a quick question. I have the lezyne twin drive for my co2 use. My question is, is it ok to use non-lezyne cartridges with it? I'd like to find cheap cartridges and not be forced to buy their brand if possible. Does anyone have any experience with this or know of any compatibility issues between brands? Thanks! Happy Riding!

Not sure about the Lenzyne ones specifically, but every one I have ever used has been universal. There are 12 & 16 gram cartridges in threaded & non-threaded versions. The only thing I ever had to worry about was if they were threaded or not. As long as that matches, you should be fine.

From: between Milwaukee and Sheboygan in Wisconsin

Bikes: 1995 Trek 520 is the current primary bike.

Looks like it takes a threaded 16g cartridge

As MK313 said, treaded or non-treaded, that's all. On ebay I usually pay 3-4$/cartridge, at my lbs it's 15$ for 2.

There is a 12 pack of threaded 16 gram cartridges on amazon.com for $12.45 plus shipping (not prime eligible) It works out to right around $20 total. They get good review and are the lowest price I've seen yet (Of course I found the deal right after I bought 4 cartridges from the LBS for the same $20, so I haven't actually used the amazon ones myself yet)

Whatever you use, just PLEASE don't discard them on the side of the road!
