hello again, long time no see !
Hi there, let me introduce myself shortly on this forum.
I am not new here, used to hang around a lot two or three years back, but posted very little words.
Then I got caught up in my job ( I am a nurse ), posted no more and gave up alltogether.
I have been riding my bike and commuting since the beginning of time, and currently own two bikes; a Kona JTS with fast 700x30 tyres and and a full rigid steel 1996 Rocky Mountain Blizzard mountainbike.
I recently took on a different job with a company car, but that didn't work out and I realised that I missed my old life of being a nurse, caring for patients and riding my bike to and from my work.
So I went to find a new job, in a great hospital nearby and a safe but rather hilly 12 K commute, very excited about it ! Do you know we get paid 0.15 eurocents per K to do so ? Free of taxes !
I still own a car, it is our family car, we have two kids aged 6 and 4, but I feel very strongly about all things cycling.
I hope my experience of a lifetime turning pedals can contribute some to all of you.
I love a fast physical ride, a good run and a good sweat, I swim rather nicely and I will someday enter a triathlon-event, but haven't done so yet.
You will see my name popping up every now and then, so now you know a little about me.
