Old Topeak Trunk Bag Doesn't Fit on Explorer Rack!

I bought this trunk bag off Craigslist thinking that it was the older version of the MTX Trunkbag EXP model. I only paid $20 for it, so I was pretty satisfied. However, after ordering the Topeak Explorer rack from Amazon, I realize that the bag doesn't fit on the QuickTrack system! I took a look at the video below, and the bottom at 0:12 does not look like the bottom on my bag at all.

Is there a part missing on my bag? Or is the model of my bag not compatible with the QuickTrack system? Is there anything I can do to make it fit?

Yeah, get 4 or 5 8" black zip ties. Secure the bag to the rack and you'll be good to go. Zip ties can cover a multitude of mistakes...of course you wont be able to remove the bag.

I would say they are not compatable.

I had the same issue but with Bontrager. I bought the post but noticed only bontrager bad with quick release will fit in there.

Topeak changed their track system about a decade ago. I have an older MTX bag from 1998 and 3 racks (one for each of my commuters). The bag is now shot, but I still use the racks. I confirm that the tracking system is the same as what's on your bag. You can still use the Velcro straps, though, right?
