I normally just wrap a little inner tube around one of the rack tubes and mount the PBSF with the included seatstay mount. It has always worked for my needs.

I just ordered a rack mount directly from PB to save some on shipping.

Some of you need to show your LBS a little more love. I got my rack mount free from my LBS guy. I bought the rack there and was going to take it home and install it and he said lets just put it on in the store. He and I put it on together in 1/4 the time it would have taken me alone and as I said, he threw in the blinky mount for nothing. The same LBS but a different employee that is higher up the management chain and I have an agreement. On bigger ticket items like tires, or cassettes, etc. I'll usually shop the mailorder sites. then I'll see what his LBS retails it for. I add the shipping charge to the mail order price and if it is lower than the LBS price we split the difference. I am way ahead with the LBS than if I used mailorder for everything.

Mine are great but it sucks they charge you extra for it when it should be included in the box when you buy the blinky-

In their defense, not every one has a rack... but I just checked the PDW site and they include a rack mount with the Radbot...

PDW generally includes a good variety of mounts in with their lights - not only seatpost but mounts that work with smaller diameter stuff. It's nice.

I have the exact same set up. I mounted mine upside down to make removal easier, and the power button then is on top which makes it easier to hit with gloves on. Lights stays on just as well even upside down. Works with my pdw and of course the superflash.

I think I paid 5 bucks for it several years ago. It's solid, a no-brainer.

I had to do a double take there - I have the same star reflectors on my fenders! I use a PDW RadBot 1000. My PDW lights and PB lights all swap out great on the rack mount bracket.

Yep. I also had to DYI an "L" bracket between the rack and the PB mount. It worked nicely for years but the bike is no longer in service. I'm sure you are already aware, but I'll mention the importance of nylock nuts or loctite.

I did something similar with a Bell Lumen light to mount it on my front rack, and a red blinky on my rear one before I got P clamps to put the PB rack mount on.

I ordered one direct from Planet Bike on 10/31. They stated to allow 2 days to process the order, and it arrived today 11/3. Got it installed (no directions included). The PBSF clones don't give a positive "click" when sliding onto the mount, but should be okay so long as the rear wheel stays planted to the road. My Cherrybomb does not fit as well (too loose).
