Yeah, I've got a few of those. It also works with the PDW Radbot.

It's a fantastic mount -- very stable. The only possible drawback is if your rack doesn't have holes in any of the right places. I had one rack like that. I think I used zip ties to make it work even there.

Hmm, this would allow me to mount my PBSF clone where the 4D is now, put the 4D back on it's seat post adapter, and the Cherrybomb can go above the 4D...
And why would I want to do this, you ask? Simple. The strength of the 4D is the side visibility, but when I use my Townies, I have to mount the bags as far back as possible to avoid heel strike. Which blocks the side firing LEDs of the 4D.

Though I got mine from a trusted BF member (he approached me after he upgraded to dyno lights), here's a link to a retail site that has the product, as well as the seat post adapter.

I have the PB rack bracket mounted on a Racktime TourIt rack. The only issue is that there was slight interference with the rear SKS P45 fender I have mounted. Easily remedied by placing a few stainless washers between the rack and the bracket. Very secure.

I've got them on most of my bikes. They work well but I would suggest a ziptie around the light to prevent it from hopping off. That's a problem with almost all light mounts. I've lost a few...and gained several
...lights due to this problem.
The 4DToplight is okay but a little behind the times. Since it's from Germany, it has no flash mode (not allowed) and it's not nearly as bright at the Planet Bike Superflash on steady mode. While losing the PB Superflash because it occasionally falls off is a problem, there is something to be said for the ease of removal. The 4D is bolted in place. You can't lose it as easily but changing batteries is a little more of a hassle.

I have several of these rack mounts and use them with PBSFs, knockoffs of the PBSFs, and Radbots. They work great and I haven't lost a light yet from this particular type of mount.
I also have these mounts on racks not designed for them. I use an aluminum T bracket bolted to the deck of the racks and bend the bracket down behind the rack. Works great.

Looks handy. I just have my PBSF clip zip tied to the rack crossways.

I use them on both bikes so I can swap the light back and forth. Love it!

Interesting.... I just bought a rack for my latest n+1. A Planet Bike Eco Rack. The guy at the LBS said "you're going to need a new place to mount your flasher, what kind do you have, is it a superflash?". I said I had a Superflash at home. The bracket he put on does not look anything like what is pictured above. Mine is designed to hold a Superflash with its clip already mounted. Then you slide the clip into a slot on the top of the bracket that is fixed to the bicycle. Looks kind of like those old fashioned beer bottle openers.
TBH I had stopped using Planet Bike and other blinkies that have a vertical mount. The Ascent blinky I like, slides into its clip horizontally. This is good because the bumps and jolts that usually dislodge your blinky (I've lost a couple or three) have mainly a vertical component. Well... I've tried and there isn't any knocking the PB out of the new mount although it does wobble. Easily fixed, but the mount pictured above should have zero wobble. The price I paid for mine can't be argued with, however.

Absolutely, and no.
Well, maybe one: We have one bike w/ a rear rack (tubus fly) mounted pretty low and the PB mount lever thingy that you push forward to release the light was pushed back by the fender. That's a) not an issue when there is no fender and b) also only an issue for battery changes since I never take the light off. And it is readily surmountable anyway.

A 4D toplight senso, does , in senso mode, when going thru a tunnel, flash ..
there are B&M battery lights too, to use the 2 horizontal bolt mount..
But maybe ChefI has to strip everything off where he has to park the bike..

Here's a shot of my light with the clip already mounted. The nice thing about the clip is I can transfer the light from my commuter to the tab on the seat bag on my road bike, and also to a PB seat post mount on my other commuter.

I used to use two rack brackets attached to a 3 x 2 x 1/8 AL plate:
(Attached with 6 M5 bolts, it sure wasn't going any where!)

With two PBSF installed:

I was very happy with this setup for quite awhile. I moved
up to a Dinotte 400R last spring, even happier now!
