I generally bring 2 pairs of pants to work on Monday and then daily bring a shirt, underwear and socks each day through the week. You know how women will "try" on an article of clothing by holding it up against their body, today I held my underwear up against my body and then put my cycling tights over top so I had an extra layer in front and it seemed to work. My wife didn't know this and gave me a wink and nudge before she went to work: will she be disappointed tonight?

As have I. Today I rode in at 35F with only a pair of boxer briefs under - no problem/discomfort.

I've gone as low as 15F in them with a baselayer under, and never chilled Willie in an undue manner.
