it's a good way to learn about the trials and tribulations of your fellow BFers!

note: video not by me, but it captures a lot of Frankfurt!

Interesting idea acid but I have to say that guy rides like a jerk!

Nothing terribly eventful happens on my rides. I wish I could contribute.

yeah, i hate that, but it's the best video. we live about 150m from the river bank, so you get an idea of my commute. however, the riverbank is very desolate this time of year.

This is a section of my 42 km commute to the office from Fremantle in the south to Joondalup in the north. All of my ride is pretty much on the coast except in the afternoons in the summer where I divert inland a bit in some vague attempt at reducing the impact of the Fremantle Doctor (read headwinds coming in off the ocean gusting at 40 to 50 km + an hour virtually every afternoon).

I do have some "fun" at times on my ride ...

No, that day the United Nations General Assembly was going on and
some streets and lanes were closed. My daily commute looks like this:

It's the last few minutes of my commute to work. This video was from a little while back, when I first got my camera. I've since learned to take control of the right lane, which becomes the middle lane, and stay there until I make my turn. I also don't filter to the front at traffic lights anymore, either..

Not a video, but here's the driveway view.
I'm no longer living in the urban environment, and have not been working since April, so the "commute" has given way to pleasure rides.

Here's another, from within the past few weeks.

Oh. Did I? I'm usually pretty good about that although not anal. Heck, I'll blow completely through a 4 way stop if nothing is coming from the other 3 directions! Haha

Nice! Here's the best driveway-view photo I've got - it was taken nearly 7 years ago...the last time I remember there being snow on the hills in Milpitas.
