I guess they call it a Nine Flow cuzza the 29" wheels, not the 8-speed cassette

Looks like a nice rig for $600 MSRP, hopefully a little break for the 2012 model.

Keep the Mongoose, just in case you'll have to go some place where your bike might get stolen.

Then just ride the Mongoose!

Always keep your Felt bike locked with a New York Fahgettaboudit U-Lock, no matter where it's parked.

BTW

Nice Choice and Congratulations!

So what happened with the 105 equipped bike? Nice new bike btw... and why must you sell your green walgoose machine? You should beat it to death on bad days etc...

Road bikes do take some getting used to at first but they're so fast it's definitely worth it.

Big time, I feel like I'm pedaling through mud on anything else! Not that mtb's, fat tires, etc aren't tons of fun!

the roads are just to bad here for road bikes.i cant explain what i mean .but it is like when they repave the roads they dont bring the tar all the way over so there is a ridge and on road bike it likes to jerk the wheel

It's all part of getting used to the bike. It helps if you have a bike that'll fit 28 or 32mm tires if the roads are really gnarly. I ride gravel roads on a roadie with 28mm tires occasionally. Super fun.

You might want to look into getting some road slicks to replace your knobby tires with. That'll help your speed a bit.

Edit: whoops, didn't see you already had those on your walgoose. Swap the tires around and keep the goose as a beater for when you want to go off road or into bad neighborhoods or whatever.

The second question depends on the shop.
