Great idea! (typical of the Dutch!!)[SARCASM_ON] but here, in the USA, it will never be adopted as drivers will find it far too distracting, and likely to interfere with their texting and other important stuff they do whilst driving [/SARCASM_OFF]

In Brisbane we have some bike paths with small glowing lights to mark the lanes. I don't know if they're solar powered or mains but they are recessed into the concrete. Quite useful on the dark areas.
