Mission Accomplished

Mission Accomplished! I've been biking to work for about a year and a half (bike and bus in the AM (2 miles), bike home in the PM (22 miles)). Since last Feb I've been logging my trips here http://metrotransit.org/trip-tracker. I've biked to work at least twice a week, every work week for the past year. Grand total of 149 commutes for a total of 3650 miles. Mother nature decided to test me this morning, but it would take a little more than 9" of snow to keep the Bianchi in the garage! The ride home had its moments as well.http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=302750http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=302749

Wow that's crazy, you just plowed yourself and the bike through that freshly fallen snow?

Any issues with derailers or other things gumming or jamming up from the ice/slush?

The AM picture (in the dark) was rideable. The other picture was a section of trail by a school I ride by. No school today = no snow removal on trail. That was NOT rideable - about a 1/4 mile of hike and bike. The snow really doesn't really affect shifting. Braking on the other hand . . .
