Mission Accomplished
Mission Accomplished! I've been biking to work for about a year and a half (bike and bus in the AM (2 miles), bike home in the PM (22 miles)). Since last Feb I've been logging my trips here https://metrotransit.org/trip-tracker. I've biked to work at least twice a week, every work week for the past year. Grand total of 149 commutes for a total of 3650 miles. Mother nature decided to test me this morning, but it would take a little more than 9" of snow to keep the Bianchi in the garage! The ride home had its moments as well.

Wow that's crazy, you just plowed yourself and the bike through that freshly fallen snow?
Any issues with derailers or other things gumming or jamming up from the ice/slush?

The AM picture (in the dark) was rideable. The other picture was a section of trail by a school I ride by. No school today = no snow removal on trail. That was NOT rideable - about a 1/4 mile of hike and bike. The snow really doesn't really affect shifting. Braking on the other hand . . .
