SRAM Automatix with disc mount
Does anyone know if the SRAM Automatix disc version is available to purchase anywhere? It is not available through any Canadian distributors. Does anyone have an online source?
The disc model is listed on their website here: https://www.sram.com/sram/urban/produ...th/term-id/261

I've looked at aebike, modernbike, niagra, treefort, and jensonusa and all I'm seeing is Coaster and Freewheel variants, no disc. Maybe the disc version is a new model that hasn't been officially released yet?

You can contact Broadie Bikes. They make a bike that has this (DOS 2.2), so, there must be a way to order it in Canada.

For anyone interested it is nothing but bad news so far. SRAM only sells the part to bike manufacturers and brodie Won't sell me the part. Adapter time I suppose....unless someone knows anyone else who makes something similar?

Sturmey and SRAM have resurrected these hubs, but I think folks will (re)discover why the two-speed died out in the 1900s and again in the 1960s.
Buy a three-speed hub w/disc mount. Hardly any more expensive, negligible weight difference, ability to control shift points, TWICE the gear range...
