I'll stick to gears, thanks... TN is way too hilly for fixed gear or single speed. Our winters aren't too rough anyway. However, I'm putting a road cassette on my MTB because I really don't need the 28 & 32t cogs on the back. I just need less spacing between individual gears. So I'm going with a 12-26.
