Hello. I am looking for a good sprung Brooks saddle for my daily commute(upright position).
The front horn of my current saddle presses up into my crotch, and makes me never want to ride again because of the lasting pain it causes...

I hear that Brooks saddle springs are very very stiff, and hardly move at all, but I also hear that the spring rates differ among models.
I am 180 lbs (~82kg), and I would like to have a generous amount of movement with the seat springs to cover the bad sidewalks around here. Think bouncy(0.5 inch travel minimum).

Does anybody have any recommendations? I am in love with the front-sprung looks of the B135, but brooks said that I would not even begin to move the springs at my weight.

I have very little experience with Brooks saddles.
I just got my first one earlier this year (Should have done that a long time ago.), I got the "Flyer" model. I am lovin it.

I have a B190 and I weigh 275. It is just the right springy.

I have a 16 year old Velo saddle that is very springy. Currently ride a Brooks B17 that isn't.

I don't know which Brooks is the most springy, but I am at ~170 lbs. and the Brooks Flyer has plenty-o-spring for me. It is like a B17 with springs.
Wouldn't want any more bounce. I have ridden it in drops as well as with a bolt upright setup, and it has the same bounce to it, I feel.
I can definitely feel the springiness as I ride over bumps and bad pavement.

Note that at high cadences the saddle starts to bounce, so I wouldn't look for too springy if you like high cadence.
The B67 is a wider saddle than the Flyer if you are looking for something wider.
Also note that while the above mentioned saddles are single rail, and should fit any modern seatpost clamp, some of the other sprung models are double-railed and need a seatpost that has a clamp for double railed seats. Or, you could get a seat sandwich clamp and use it on a straight pipe seatpost. I think that is how some do it.

I have a B67 and a Flyer and the B67 is made for more upright and is nearly broken in right out of the box.

My well worn B-66, as well as my newer B73 provide plenty of spring power for my 190 lb body.
