tonight riding home (8pm) I saw in the mirror a car coming up behind me. I thought I saw it move to center of road ( no on-coming traffic) when all of a sudden the person slams on their brakes and you can hear the car slide/skid. when I can I look in my mirror and they are half in my lane. then they just stay behind me ( Im in bike lane) so I slow down, they slow down, I signal that im making a left turn and they swerve around me and take off under hard acceleration. I did not have to turn, I just telling them IM getting out of their way. I then gave another hand gesture as they passed
I stopped, got off my bike and just took a deep breath and uttered to myself the word that matched my hand gesture.
Im thinking driver....drunk....texting...or both
I could not get a plate id. just large silver late model Chrysler sedan.
btw, I know my tail light is very visible, Portland Design Works Danger Zone Tail Light , I wear a bright green with 3m reflector stripe safety vest and a helmet with reflective stickers on the back

Yeah, drunk for sure. I had a large pickup truck go around me very close and then do a right hook in front of me meanwhile, I'm braking hard to avoid running into him. Glad you are ok. Be careful out there.
