Bike food delivery

Didn't really know what section to put this in. So I decided to put it here. Does anybody know any restaurants that higher cyclists for delivery? I know jimmy johns does sometimes. I live in a suburb of Chicago and I'm looking to get a job like that for the summer. So do you guys know any restaurants?

I don't know any. However I wonder if any would be willing to start if you called them? I'm sure many places have customers that are withing a short distance and it would be just as fast (or close) to deliver by bike as anything else.

Start a business where you offer to pick up people's food and deliver it to them ... kinda like a food (bike) messenger.

Subway could benefit from such deliveries. I know for certain that some Chinese restaurants deliver by bicycle.

You can imagine having a deal with several different restaurants where you make yourself available for exactly this...

This is workable in higher density urban areas where there is a larger customer base within a reasonable cycling distance (time=$).

There is a company in San Antonio that delivers by bikes. I ordered from them when I stayed there for a week and it was awesome. He and his crew ran a business that would do pick up and delivery for restaurants. Great idea.
