In a second bedroom / storage room. I don't trust the garage just the simple fact it can be taken the second I forget to close the garage. There are times where I thought I closed the garage only to find out later that I did not. Those times are when my bike will get stolen. I live in a relatively safe neighborhood but the transients are the people I'm worrying about.

works great. it's not pricey at all. it flucuates between 59.99 and 69.99, but I paid 59.99 for it, and waited until they had a free shipping promotion because otherwise you have to pay the overweight/size extra.

so after tax i only paid about $64. compare that to paying $99+ to one in store, or getting a Thule one for $150, etc. the nashbar one is the same product, just with a different sticker.

Ha! One in the bedroom and usually four in the living room although mine sometimes finds its way into the bedroom. (Glad no one here has a wife. Although it would be excellent to have someone who did the dishes and had dinner ready when we get home from the shop at 5:30. :P)

In my house my bike leans against freshly remodeled, blond wood, granite-topped kitchen peninsula. Why? Because I AM THE WIFE!

We’re on the second floor of a four-story condominium and when I'm riding two bikes, I keep them both and just inside the narrow entrance to our unit, leaning against the bench seat pictured below. One is an ultralight carbon fiber bike and the other is a heavy-duty beater mountain bike. The MTB is pretty heavy, and I have a back injury that makes it a chore to carry up the stairs.

This winter I am only using the mountain bike and I decided to keep it in the vestibule of the condo at near street level. The only other condo owner who might object is spending the winter in Mexico. By April when he comes back, I'll (hopefully) mostly be using the carbon fiber bike. I gotta watch the woodwork though.

It is partly visible through the door window, but it's a strong door with a good lock and a security camera.

In my garage. If needed I can get it off the floor and hung from the ceiling. Most times it is sitting there ready to go.

I keep mine in the shed.

I'll take one of those extra Konas off your hands to make room for more bikes. Mine go in the garage.

I don't think my wife would allow bikes in the house (I have gotten away with it on rare occasions while I am working on it or something). My "garage" is currently minus a door and half a wall till we can get it rebuilt, so that isn't a secure option.

Our good bikes are locked in a shed we built in the backyard (a plastic Keter one). Our 4 good bikes take up more then half of it, plus bike gear/etc take up part of the rest of the space. I think I can squeeze one more bike in there This will eventually go away when we get the garage rebuilt (or that is the plan).

Our beater bikes are hidden in the secrete back-back yard, behind a fence with a hidden door. Sadly no structure, only a tarp to help keep them dry.

I have considered building/buying a small bike storage shed, but haven't found something with the right dimension yet.

I also have one bike that is stored elsewhere.

In the tool/storage room next to the wash room. Used to park my bike on the back porch. It was stolen. After that I keep it locked out of sight at home.

one in the dining room by the back door, one in living room by the front door, new salsa vaya in the basement getting finishing touches at the moment, and 2 more in the garage. The wife is very understanding.

5 bikes all inside my home office.

One hanging on the wall, three bunched up together under that one, and one folding bike inside a big Rubbermade tub under the printer table.

I keep my bikes same place my wife keeps her shoes...inside the climate controlled house. It's in our prenupts.

Garage. Keeps road grit from getting inside the house, and I don't need to worry about locking it up.

I have the most active one on the back porch and two others in the basement on a bike tree...
my wife does give me trouble about bringing the bike in even for a bit of maintenance, so I usually wait until she leaves for work before I bring the bike in for an adjustment... ;)

I live in a very small condo and lease half a barn 9 miles away.

1 in the dining room, two in the living room, building a rack soon for all three and shelf space on the living room.

3 more out at the barn. Bikes do not live outside except during the day at work. When I refurbished the GFs bike I told her that when I was done it was an inside bike and will never spend the night outside again.

for those who first thinking about bikes inside I have a few hallway rugs up against the walls under the bikes. Cheap, easy to clean. As a bachelor I dont much care about interior style.
