Rear Mount Kickstand on Kona Dew Plus

I picked up a rear-mount kickstand from Dick's Sporting Goods this evening to mount on my Kona Dew Plus. I knew it wouldn't accept a regular kickstand, so I got this one. Started to put it together and realized that the bracket won't make contact with both points on the frame. I went ahead and tightened it down on one, to see if it would work. It seems ok, and out of the way from the pedal and rear brake.

Should I worry about this? It's on there solid and hasn't moved through 5 or so kicks.

Here's a link to how I've got it set up.

EDIT: Here's a better one. It's nowhere near the second bracket spot. It's totally out of the way of everything and seems to be holding up just fine.

I am not liking your new kickstand set up. It looks like an accident waiting to happen. Why can't you use a kickstand that goes behind the bottom bracket?

having the disc brake there too, adds complication ..

those 2 holes ro the rear of what you have is for a different type of kickstand ,
that you may have to import from Europe

2 bolts hold it to that pair of holes ..

how far apart are they? this is the KS to mount on those 2 bolts .

NB: 2 spreads between those 2 bolts ..

I like those rear stay mounted kickstands, but it doesn't look like a safe/secure option for this bike.
