Strange Clothes To Wear Commuting

Today, I saw a young woman riding to work wearing, bright red, knee high boots. (Had to be uncomfortable.) What is the strangest outfit that you saw someone wearing while commuting?

Not kneehighs, but I see dozens of people dressed like this every morning commute

I was thinking a pink thong, cowboy boots, and a half tee would get noticed, but I was just saying'...

There is a guy around Riga who rides with a cat on his shoulder. By far the strangest I've seen. The people described in the OP are everyday commuters in major European cities. Nothing out of the ordinary.

She needs to lower her saddle about 4" (10 cm for the civilized world). That's got to hurt the tender bits!

I think that's rad. If they can handle a ride in their street/work clothes, I say more power to them. The only thing I hate about my morning commute to work is changing when I get in, particularly because it has to be done in a bathroom stall while giving myself a wet-wipe shower.

I see this guy riding a few times a week down the trail. Long hair, sunglasses, black band tshirt, bike shorts, and he is always playing full on air guitar (riding with no hands).

Let's see:

Zoro (capes suck on a bike)
Starchild from KISS
Sirius Black in full prison garb
Dracula
Brett Farve in full pads
The Mayhem guy from the Allstate commercials

and a few other I don't recall, - all Halloween costumes.

Technically I didn't see them. I was them.

My co worker and I both commute. Here is what he wore for Halloween, both in the office and riding home

For the week of Christmas, I used those reindeer decorations people put on cars (and some festive tinsel) to create Pinkie the Road Bike Reindeer:

Needless to say I also wore a Santa hat and red lycra. There was a lot of honking and pointing... I assume because they were infected with Christmas cheer

No pic, but saw a cyclist yesterday using a dirty bandanna to tie his baseball cap to his head. I've only seen him in passing so have no idea what his story is.

I'm struggling with what's so strange about this. Seems quite normal.
