How Do You Say 'Kamikazee" in French?

C'est sympa! Thanks for posting. We should invite M. Luc Saint-Elie to this forum. Did anyone notice there's much less honking than, say, in NYC? For those familiar with Paris, does anyone recognize his actual route? Where exactly did he depart and finish?
@25:30 it's a bit risky. At the end, was he arguing with someone about the bus or what?

I don't see the big deal. Typical city commute, and better behaved traffic than DC.
At least JoeyBike's videos have good music.

I skipped through it but it didn't seem like many drivers were aggressive against the cyclist, which, IMO, is what makes many of our commutes dangerous and/or thrilling.

Maybe it’s just commuting in the US, but people around here don’t hesitate to cut off a biker. I ride at about 20mph (which seems to be about what he is often doing), and hitting a truck at that speed would be no fun. It may work in France, but he would be in the hospital if he did road like that for long on my commute.
Then again, I have often thought anyone who rides any two wheeled vehicle, splits lanes and jumps traffic in Paris has a low opinion of their life. But all of this is typical for bicycle, moped, or motorcycle in Paris.

It really sux in the winter. It is gray, noisy, dark, & damp for half the year (like January when this run was done).
It is much better in the summer, when there are only a few hours of darkness (like this time of year), but then you notice how the sky is not really blue, its a bit on the brown side. Its not too bad early morning on summer weekends though.

Oh, typical Parisian banter between irritable people. The driver was pissed off at how the biker came around the bus and cut him off, while the biker was pissed that the driver was acting like he was the police telling him how to ride the bike. Nothing like commuting in Paris traffic to make everyone irritable.
