Detours panniers?

Does anyone have one of these? I like the size, versatility, and the price, but I have a pretty short chainstay, and I'm a little worried about heelstrike. The photo looks like it sits pretty high, which would help, but its hard to know without seeing it in person.

Fyi heelstrike - there are other racks available that move the rack back a bit to avoid heelstrike. Axiom Streamliner Disc, or Tubus makes adapters for all of it's racks that I believe do it as well.

Just mentioning it as you may not be able to solve that problem with pannier choice - they all might be basically the same.

Not relevant to your particular pannier, but I have a set of different Detours panniers and have had endless problems with the hooks breaking. However, I've also had amazing customer service, and had something like five sets of replacement hooks sent to me at no charge. I wholly recommend the company, and the broken hooks were just bad design that they have since fixed.

It does seem to sit pretty high. Maybe that will prevent heel strike. But if you don't have a rack yet, the suggestion made by PaulRivers may be worth looking into.

Already have the rack. Blackburn EX-1. I'm concerned those spacers would affect the stability of the rack under load, though. Has anyone used them?
