Pants for commuting
#26
I have subjected them to some pretty severe use as I wear them when I am working in my shop and pretty much live in them otherwise... aside from some fading they are still pretty flawless and are also fairly roomy which is good when you have a cyclist's butt and legs.
I can barely stand jeans anymore.
On a recent mini tour of 222 km I wore the zip offs as shorts all day and then converted them to pants in the evening, I also packed a nice base layer to throw on underneath when it got colder and these also work well for sleepwear as they breathe well.
This same kit serves me really well when I am winter cycling and unless it is really cold I don't need shell pants.
